Torrey Pines Fall Engagement | Chelsea + Tim

I took Chelsea and Tim over to my secret spot near Torrey Pines for their engagement shoot. I absolutely love the terracotta cliffs that overlook Del Mar. Every time I shoot here I seem to have the whole place to myself :) It truly is spectacular to look across the coast of Del Mar and La Jolla! They outfits were absolute perfection, I think I must have asked Chelsea where every piece was from LOL! She certainly nailed the earthy tones! I swear I get all my fashion inspiration from my clients, I’ve collected so many outfits over the years from seeing them on my clients at their engagement sessions.

After some time on the cliffs, we headed down to Torrey Pines State Beach for the sunset and a little stroll in the sand. We walked along the bottom of the cliffs and took some incredible photos up in the rocks! This is one of my absolute favorite beaches for engagement shoots. The wide stretch of sandy beach and red bluffs provide a perfect backdrop for any session.

We had the loveliest time and soaked up the last hours of daylight. I just adore these two and I can’t wait for their wedding in Mission Bay! Engagement sessions are the best way to connect with your photographer before the wedding and form a friendship :) I always encourage my clients to do a session before the wedding, or even just meet up for a coffee or drinks! My relationships with my clients are so special to me, and I love getting to spend this time with them before their day.
