Coronado Bay Wedding - San Diego | Lisa + Casey

Lisa + Casey made it official at the Sacred Heart Church in Coronado, the same exact place that her grandparents were married. Her mom was baptized there as well, so it holds a very special place in their heart. We even recreated an iconic photo of her grandparents after their ceremony.

Lisa looked absolutely stunning and classy as can be, and the two sped off in a Rolls Royce right after the ceremony. This was their favorite part of the day! “It was so nice having some solo time just to process everything.” Once congratulations were said, we headed to the boat docks in Coronado Bay for photos and even snuck over to the dunes.

Their reception was hosted at the Coronado Golf Club, which was decked out with beautiful decor. “We loved the location- on the water with a view of the bridge and easy to get to from the church. We liked having everything on the island- it felt like a nice intimate location where every corner was beautiful”. Coronado really does feel like a little escape from the city!

I loved how calm and relaxed Lisa + Casey were throughout the day. They really made a huge effort to enjoy every minute of it. “My advice is to find a way to relax! I struggle with enjoying big events (graduations birthdays etc). I put too much pressure on enjoying it which is the opposite way to enjoy something. And this was kind of like the ultimate big event! I really liked guided meditation and thinking about life after the wedding. Now that it’s all said and done I think it’s just a big party where everyone recognizes your relationship as what you probably already knew it to be.”
